Jiangtian Muxue Cultural Park

The Jiangtian Muxue Cultural Park opened to the public at the Orange Isle Scenic Area on the evening of November 6. An art performance featuring the park was staged that night, highlighting characters and stories in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The show is enhanced by technologies that create stunning effects, including sound, light, water, fog, and electricity, making it a new experiential space on Orange Isle. Located in the Gongji Tower and Jiangshen Temple areas of Orange Isle, the park features a Hunan-style fair and a light and shadow theater. The park is named after the Jiangtian Muxue (or Twilight River, Dance of Snowflakes), one of the Eight Views of Xiaoxiang depicted in well-known poems, drawings and paintings from the Song Dynasty. Centering on the Huxiang culture and using digital art as the medium, the park offers some glimpses into several Hunan-related highlights of the Song Dynasty.

A Song-style garden party is ongoing at the park's light and shadow theater, providing visitors with an immersive experience that involves watching shows, taking photos, and experiencing intangible cultural heritage items.
