Xiangjiang Joy Ocean Park is part of the Xiangjiang Joy Town in Dawangshan Tourist Resort. It integrates marine and polar animal exhibition, recreation and multimedia experience, themed performances, and marine knowledge popularization. The park started trial operations on December 24, 2023. 

The park covers an area of about 300,000 square meters, with a total water volume of 30,000 cubic meters and a total construction area of about 78,000 square meters. It is home to more than 100 rare and endangered polar and marine animals  and nearly 40,000 ornamental fish. Besides, it introduced polar bears, emperor penguins, and other iconic polar animals to the province for the first time.

The park has two large ocean theaters, a 5D cinema, an indoor children's playground, and 18 amusement facilities, offering tourists diverse travel experiences.

Tourists can purchase tickets through the official WeChat and Douyin accounts of Xiangjiang Joy Ocean Park and major online travel agencies (OTA) platforms.

Standard tickets for adults, seniors, students and children are priced at 198 yuan/person, 128 yuan/person, 150 yuan/person and 128 yuan/person, respectively.

How to get there

Self-drive: 
Navigate to the Xiangjiang Joy Ocean Park (Changsha-Haichang) [湘江歡樂海洋(長沙-海昌)]. 

Metro: 
Take Changsha Metro Line 3 Extension Line (Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway West Ring Line), get off at the Tongxi Station [桐溪站], exit from entrance No. 1B, and then walk to the park.

SkyShuttle: 
Take the Dawangshan Yunba (SkyShuttle) line, get off at the Dawangshan Station [大王山站], and then walk to the park.

Bus:
Take Bus No. 207, 418, 380, or 938, get off at the Shimentang Station [石門塘站] or Tanzhou Avenue and Tongxi Road Intersection Station [潭州大道桐溪路口站], and then walk to the park.
