This exhibition is a project supported by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, bringing together 120 masterpieces created by 25 landscape painters of the old, middle and young generations in China. It aims at exploring the academic spirit and innovative expression of landscape painting in the new era through diversified creative perspectives. Artists used vivid personal painting language to show the poetic Hunan Province and Yueyang City, creating a new scroll of "Poetry and Distant Place" to help publicize the 4th Hunan Tourism Development Conference.

The exhibition is guided by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Publicity Department of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee; organized by the Yueyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, and Television; undertaken by the Yueyang Art Museum and the Yueyang Academy of Calligraphy and Painting; and, assisted by the Art Theory Committee of Hunan Artists Association. It will last until July 17 and open to the public free of charge.
