The Fourth Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition will be held in Huaihua between September 16 and 18.

Themed "Revitalizing Intangible Cultural Heritage - Hunan Products Go Global," this session will feature a "1113" setup—a launching ceremony, a trade fair, a thematic exhibition, and three supporting activities. These activities aim to comprehensively showcase Hunan's vibrant landscape of intangible cultural heritage, which honors traditions while embracing innovation and connecting with the world.

Hunan has registered 7,730 representative inheritors across ten major categories of intangible cultural heritage, including 137 national-level and 664 provincial-level items. As an important supporting event of the Fifth Hunan Tourism Development Conference, this exhibition will leverage the province's profound intangible cultural heritage resources to innovatively create a "fixed + mobile" dual experience model. In this model, the millennia-old crafts and skills will transcend time and space to deeply integrate with modern life.

Moreover, Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, Guizhou, and Guangxi will join hands to launch a "City Flagship" initiative for their border areas for the first time, bringing together their exquisite intangible cultural heritage works and holding a cross-regional cultural dialogue in Huaihua.

At the Wuxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Square in Huaihua, melodious Grand Song of the Dong ethnic group, resonant Gaoqiang folk songs, and graceful Guangxi Wenchang singing will take the stage one after another, showcasing the dazzling diversity of multi-ethnic cultures.
