The 2025 China (Changsha) Culture and Tourism Promotion Conference in Thailand was held in Bangkok, Thailand on November 20. This marked the second stop of Changsha's targeted inbound tourism promotion campaign in Southeast Asia.

Through thematic presentations, an intangible cultural heritage (ICH) exhibition, and a cultural and tourism photo exhibition, the event showcased Changsha's unique cultural charm and abundant tourism resources from multiple perspectives.

During the event, an intangible cultural heritage (ICH) exhibition and a cultural and tourism photo exhibition took place simultaneously. ICH masterpieces and scenic photos of Changsha were on display, offering Thai attendees an immersive experience of Changsha's multifaceted appeal.
To precisely promote its tourism route products, Changsha introduced its core "3-day, 2-night" inbound tourism package tailored for Thai visitors on site. At the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area booth, a series of cultural and creative products drew visitors' attention, while the breathtaking views of Yuelu Mountain, Orange Isle, Aiwan Pavilion, and Yuelu Academy captivated guests.

Cultural tourism products from the Tongguan Kiln Cultural Tourism Resort and Tongguan Kiln ceramic works, presented by Wangcheng District, enabled visitors to feel the contemporary vitality of the millennium-old kiln-firing tradition.

Liuyang City showcased a combination of "ICH plus fireworks". Liuyang fireworks, a calling card of Changsha's cultural tourism, Liuyang xiabu (or grass linen), and distinctive cultural and creative products, sparked great interest among Thai travel agents. In particular, fireworks-themed tourism products offering customized fireworks viewing and cultural experiences emerged as a new expectation for Thai tourists.

During the event, the Changsha Travel Agency Association and the Association of Thai Travel Agents signed a strategic tourism cooperation agreement. By establishing a long-term collaboration mechanism between associations, both sides aim to promote resource sharing and market synergy in the tourism sector.

In the future, Changsha will leverage direct flights to Singapore and Thailand and mutual visa exemption policies, to further strengthen its presence in the Southeast Asian market and boost high-quality development of Changsha's inbound tourism.
