Through these up-close experiences of intangible cultural heritage, they felt the cultural charm of Yuezhou, the ancient name for Yueyang. "The exhibition hall is fantastic. Visitors can get a hands-on experience of the local culture," said the Mongolian guest.
The Dongting Lake Town is home to dozens of intangible cultural heritage items, including Yuezhou paper-cutting, Yuezhou kiln, Han embroidery, Chuanshan writing brushes, and Yuezhou fans. It is dedicated to building a landmark for display, experience, and inheritance of traditional craftsmanship.
